The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse (CDÉNÉ), through its Visitez Nouvelle-Écosse initiative, invites you to apply as a content creator. You don’t need to be a well-known influencer—we are looking for creative and engaged families who can share an authentic Acadian Nova Scotia experience.
Families must consist of at least two people. They may reside in Nova Scotia but must travel outside of their home region.

Eligibility Conditions
This call for applications is open to all residents of Canada. Employees of the Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse, their advertising and promotional agencies, partners, participating merchants, prize suppliers, and any individuals directly involved in this initiative—as well as their immediate family members, spouses (legal or common-law), and household members—are not eligible.
The application deadline is May 15 at 9:00 PM (Atlantic Time).
The selected family will be contacted on May 22, 2026.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated based on the following:

A minimum of 2,000 followers on at least one platform

Proficiency in French (spoken and written)

Creativity and storytelling ability
-
Availability to travel in Nova Scotia for 7 days between June 21 and September 7, 2026

Completion of the application form before 9:00 PM on Friday, May 15, 2026
1. Initiative Objective
This initiative aims to select a family interested in experiencing Acadian Nova Scotia in order to:

Showcase Acadian regions
-
Produce authentic tourism-related content
-
Encourage discovery of Acadian Nova Scotia
Content will be shared by the selected family as well as through the visitezne.ca channels.
2. Support Provided
The selected family will receive a travel experience valued at up to $3,500, which may cover:

Accommodation
-
Tourist activities
-
Transportation (fuel)
-
Meals
The family may also receive support from the CDÉNÉ team for itinerary planning and research materials.
3. Desired Profile
The selected family must:

Plan a trip in Nova Scotia during summer 2026
-
Show an interest in cultural and tourism discovery
-
Be comfortable sharing their experience on social media
-
Have at least one active public account (Facebook, Instagram, or other) with a minimum of 2,000 followers
4. Expected Commitments
In exchange for the experience, the selected family agrees to document their stay in Acadian Nova Scotia.
Minimum content requirements:
During the trip:

Daily stories or spontaneous content

3 to 5 social media posts
After the trip:

2 to 3 recap posts (reels, blog articles, or photo posts)
Content must:

Be in French
-
Tag the visitezne.ca accounts
5. Content Usage
The family agrees that the Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse may reuse the photos and videos produced as part of this initiative, including:

On its social media platforms

On the visitezne.ca website
-
In future promotional communications
6. Responsibility and Safety
The Creator (selected family) is fully responsible for:

Their own safety and that of accompanying family members

Their personal belongings
-
The activities they choose to participate in
The Conseil de développement économique de la Nouvelle-Écosse cannot be held responsible for:
-
Any accidents, injuries, or incidents
-
Any loss or theft
-
Any damage occurring during the trip
7. Insurance and Compliance
The Creator is responsible for obtaining all necessary insurance for all accompanying family members, including:

Travel insurance
-
Automobile insurance
-
Health insurance
They also agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
